Torre Mannella is a farm holidays situated in the heart of Abruzzo, just outside the old town of Citta Sant’ Angelo in the province of Pescara.
The estate was built on the side of a small hill and boasts panoramic views of the vineyards and olive groves reaching down towards the Adriatic Sea on one side and the mountain ranges on the other.
Torre Mannella is an ideal base for guests that wish to visit the sights of Abruzzo. Only 8km from the A14 motorway.
The beaches of the Adriatic are within easy reach by car and the national parks of the Gran Sasso (Great Rock) and of the Maiella mountains are within a 50km radius.



Torre Mannella is an agricultural business with the main body of the land consisting of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’ Abruzzo vineyards, the remainder offers olive groves, a small vegetable garden and many fruit bearing plants and trees. Guests will also find a small farm with deer, pigs, peacocks, geese and chickens.
The apartment structure of Torre Mannella consists of 4 parts and offers tranquillity and rest for our guests; the old Torretta from which the estate takes its name, la casa colonica, le scuderie and la cantina.
All the apartments are separate, originally designed offering a warm cosy atmosphere, fully furnished and with heating.
The Swimming Pool is 16 by 8 metres with a depth of 70cm to 250cm and is reserved only for the guests of Torre Mannella. It is surrounded by olive trees and the place offers peace and tranquillity under the watch of the nearby deer, peacocks, geese and chickens, Rocco (a small horse) and Rosina (the rescued mule).

     
A large barbecue and traditional outside wood oven are available to use for social evening meals. Whilst staying at Torre Mannella guests are invited to sample the wine of the vineyards, DOC Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’ Abruzzo, extra virgin olive oil and the fruit and vegetables grown from the land.
Courses of embroidery and cross-stitching and Italian home cooking can be requested and followed together with Lea.
During your stay it is also possible to do archery, tennis and horse riding in the vicinity of Torre Mannella.

Description:
La Torretta: (4) 70 sq.m
It is a very old construction, probably dating of the XVII century, typical of the area.
Once upon a time, it was used as a watchtower.
Recently restored, it is composed, of a vast living room with a cooking corner, of two communicating double rooms and a shower-room.
La Casa Colonica:
Divided into studios located at the ground floor and the 1st floor, which can be reached by an interior staircase. The apartments of the 1st stage are facing a vast terrace.
They are composed: of a cooking corner, of a matrimonial bed to which can be added an individual bed, as well as a shower-room. Two of these studios can be communicating.
La Scuderia:
In the old stables, three bilocaux (2 rooms) of 35 sq.m were restructured which give on a loggia.
Placed on two levels, they are composed:
on the ground floor, of a living/dining room and a sofa bed, of a shower-room.
On the 1st floor of a matrimonial room.
La Casa de Dante :
Recently restored, it is an apartment of 60 sq.m located on the 1st floor equipped with a superb private panoramic terrace.
It is composed, of an entry, a living room with cooking corner, a matrimonial room, a double room and two shower-rooms. It is equipped with a washing machine.
