Bacio del Sole is five minutes walk by a ramp of steps to the centre of Praiano where you can buy food, eat in a nice restaurant, drink in the quiet bars or simply enjoy the village lazy lifestyle.
Or, you can use the bus that loops the town of Positano and Praiano during spring and summer which takes you to the beaches and the town center. You can park 500 meters far, few minutes walk from the apartment, free of charge. This apartment has air conditioning and TV.
Seaside village between Amalfi and Positano, Praiano was once the summer residence of the Dogi of the Amalfi Republic and an university site while Carlo 1st D'Anjou was reigning. In the past they had a flourishing industry of the silk, disappeared in the XIX century; during the XX century the discovery of coral restarted the economical interest of the area. Now the flourishing industry is the tourism, thanks to a perfect position. Not to forget to pay a visit to the church of S. Luca Evangelic, unique amongst the dozens of churches and monsters erected in the past centuries, where are kept the rest of the Saint and some painting of Giovanni Bernardo Lama (XVI) A must is a visit to the enchanted Marina of Praia where the palms wave a welcome in the tremendous gorge at the entrance to the residential centre.
