What strikes in Campania is the extreme diversity of its landscapes and its
innumerable sites deserving to be visited.
First of all the bubbling Naples, full of a popular exuberance, cradle of the "bel canto" and the pizza, with its picturesque lanes, the linen hanging from the windows and its scooters, but as well endowed with immense artistic treasures (its palates dating of the Rebirth, its baroques churches, museums such as Capodimonte Gallery and the national archaeological museum).
It is one of most beautiful bays of the world!
Campania, it is also the ancient Vesuvius and its ancients cities where the emotion embrace the visitor more than anywhere else: Pompéi, Herculanum, Paestum.
Its islands of dream, blessed by gods, elected by the poets and the tourists: Capri, Ischia, Procida...
Campania also offers to the tourists one of the most beautiful sites of Italy for "idleness" and the pleasures of the beach: the Amalfitaine Coast. An extraordinary road made of cliff road connects the seaside resorts of Positano, Amalfi (see Duomo), Ravello (traditional concerts in the open air at the Rufolo Villa, visit of the gardens of the Villa Cimbrone),... And also Salerno, Sorrente, Capoue...
But whose in love with nature and calm they will prefer Cilento at the south, its very beautiful coast and its natural reserve. Famous also is the kitchen in Campania (especially made with fish), and its famous wines (Lacryma Christi), its lemoncello (liquor based with pieces of lemon peel). A marvellous area to discover!
