Masseria Scopaione is located in the Maremma countryside, near the beaches of Mount Argentario and the beach towns of Punta Ala, Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia.
Its position is ideal, within easy reach of natural parks, archaeological sites and Tuscan art cities.
You can discover and savour ancient flavours in the typical Medieval villages set in the surrounding hills, which still today preserve treasured architectural elements, offering views and glimpses of another time.
In all four seasons you will be able to find local feasts characteristic of Maremma tradition and taste typical local dishes accompanied by our wines and oils.
The old stone farmhouse takes its name from the immemorial presence of scópo plants (erica scoparia, broom heather), characteristic of the Maremma brush. Today, fields planted with grain, sunflowers and grapevines, and an olive grove, where organic agriculture is actively practiced, surround the large garden.
After a judicious restoration, which maintained the particular character of Maremman farm buildings, seven apartments were created in the house, furnished with folk-art style furniture and using a prevalence of terra cotta and chestnut wood.
Far from traffic, guests will find a tranquillity that is rare in this day and age, capable of regenerating the spirit and the body.
You can choose to swim in the pool, ride a mountain bike or pass the day reading a book in the furnished garden, and in the evening use the barbecue or the wood oven to make a tasty dinner flavoured with local oil and accompanied by local wine, and eat al fresco in the clean country air.
The apartments, 5 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor, all have independent entrances. The details and furnishings have been meticulously designed to make your vacation truly relaxing and unforgettable.

La Carraia (Cart Road): apartment with living room-kitchen, master bedroom, sofa bed and bathroom.
First Floor
L'Alba (Dawn) and Il Tramonto (Sunset): apartments with large living room, 2 master bedrooms, 1 double bedroom + bunk bed in another room and 2 bathrooms.

The apartments are furnished with refrigerator-freezer, cook top with oven, satellite TV and independent heating. Also at guests’ disposition are: pool with lounge chairs, garden chairs, umbrellas, barbecue grill, wood oven, laundry room with 2 washing machines, mountain bikes, parking area. For outdoor fun we have a swing, a slide, a basketball hoop and a football goal. Animals are not allowed.
