Relais Florentine was the summer residence of the Davanzati’s, a very old and noble Florentine family, dating back to 1500. It was acquired by the current owner’s family in the middle of the 18th century.  It is composed of apartments and private villas to accommodate from 2 to 8 people.
The Relais Florentine was completely restored in 2000 with exceptional care to preserve the original structure which dates back to 1500.
The property also includes the owner’s private villa, a small restaurant and an olive press, part of the small farm which is operational to this day.  

 

The large swimming pool, surrounded by white sand, sits in a beautiful green setting of olive trees and vineyards and offers a spectacular view over the valley.
In the gardens there is a barbecue area where guests can enjoy their evenings whilst cooking the Tuscan specialties.
The closest village is situated a quick walk from the Relais, guests can enjoy the experience of shopping in the small traditional stores.
The Relais allows their guests to combine a relaxing vacation in the countryside with the art and city experience of Florence... swimming in the pool amidst olive trees, and at just 10 kilometres from Florence.
