Villa del Sole is a comfortable and independent villa set in a quiet and sunny location in the surroundings of Balestrate, little bathing village on the northern coast of Sicily, 40 km away on the western side of Palermo.  
The villa is set in a plain area in the countryside. All around extends wide equipped outside spaces and a lovely garden (metres 5.000) of olive-trees, citrus fruit and ornamental aromatic plants. This residence offers well-distributed spaces and it has been elegantly furnished with rustic furniture. The living room and the kitchen look on the large terrace equipped for open-air dinners (furniture, barbecue and outside shower). The spacious and comfortable bedrooms have been furnished according to the owners’ good taste.

Balestrate is a small bathing locality with about 6.000 residents, located in the Castellammare’s Gulf, along the northern coast of Sicily, 40 Km on the western side of Palermo. In the surroundings there are some very interesting localities like Castellammare, Scopello, La Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro, San Vito lo Capo, Erice, Trapani, Segesta…The existing seaside village is developed around an old tunny-fishing grounds on the sea-front with its small shops, bar, and typical restaurants where it is possible to enjoy Sicilian specialities and excellent fish dishes. The coast is characterized by beautiful and fine sandy beaches with crystalline water and shoals, the hinterland by some wine-producing farms with their typical “bagli”. Worth visiting are: the Chiesa Madre and the Calatubo’s Castle, interesting Byzantine stronghold, set on a rock overlooking the village.
